Dan Gorback Joins Zeltiq as Corporate Counsel

McClure & Feuer announces today that it has recruited Dan Gorback to join Zeltiq as Corporate Counsel. Dan will advise on a broad array of issues including corporate, securities, FDA regulatory, IP, transactional and general business matters. Prior to joining Zeltiq, Dan spent the duration of his legal career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a corporate associate.
Mr. Gorback received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2009, and his B.A. from U.C. Santa Cruz.
Zeltiq is a public medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products utilizing its proprietary controlled-cooling technology platform. The company’s first commercial product, the CoolSculpting System, is designed to selectively reduce stubborn fat bulges that may not respond to diet or exercise. CoolSculpting is based on the scientific principle that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the overlying skin and surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting uses precisely controlled cooling to reduce the temperature of fat cells in the treated area, which is intended to cause fat cell elimination through a natural biological process known as apoptosis.
