Baird Fogel Joins Crowell & Moring LLP as a Corporate and Energy Partner

McClure & Feuer is pleased to announce that it has recruited Baird D. Fogel to join the San Francisco office of Crowell & Moring LLP as a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Energy Groups. Baird joins his new firm from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he was a member of the firm's Global Project Finance Practice.
In addition to his most recent role in private practice, Baird formerly served as General Counsel of BP Solar International, as well as General Counsel of GE Transportation. In those roles, he managed all legal matters ranging from developing and implementing global strategy for the development of solar and transportation projects, manufacturing and sales, to establishing joint ventures, and handling domestic and international litigation matters.
A corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, and energy attorney, Baird will advise Crowell & Moring clients on energy project development, project construction, project finance, commercial law, commercial settlements, compliance, contract negotiations, corporate governance, international project finance, and general corporate law, with an emphasis on solar energy projects.
Baird received his JD from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1995 and BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
