James Topinka Joins Davis Wright Tremaine to Head San Francisco Office Business Transactions Group

McClure & Feuer announces today that it has recruited senior partner James Topinka to join Davis Wright Tremaine. Jim will head up the San Francisco office’s Business Transactions Group. His practice will continue to include representing early stage companies, privately held businesses, successful entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, and public companies from the branded consumer products, digital media, and digital health care industries. Jim’s expertise is wide-ranging and includes acquisitions and buyouts, public and private finance, entity formation, and operations. Prior to joining his new firm, Jim was a corporate partner at Winston & Strawn.
Jim holds an LL.M. from Harvard University, a J.D. from Stanford University, and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
