Carolyn Bruguera Joins Hansen Medical as Vice President and General Counsel

McClure & Feuer announced today that it has recruited Carolyn Bruguera to serve as Vice President and General Counsel of Hansen Medical, Inc. Reporting to the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Carolyn will serve as a key senior member of the management team and will contribute to the overall strategic direction of Hansen Medical from both a legal and business perspective. Carolyn brings nearly 20 years of general corporate, securities, governance and IP expertise to her new position. Prior to joining Hansen Medical, Carolyn served for nearly six years as Vice President and General Counsel at Micrus Endovascular Corporation. Earlier in her career, Carolyn was engaged as a corporate lawyer in private practice at four leading Silicon Valley law firms. She completed her legal education at the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.
Prior to recruiting Carolyn, McClure & Feuer recruited Kristen Huffman to serve as Senior Corporate Counsel. Kristen joined Hansen Medical from the Silicon Valley office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. At Wilson Sonsini, Kristen assisted private and publically held companies in life science-related technology transactions.
