Brenda Aguilar and Henry Hewitt Join Meyers Nave

McClure & Feuer announces today that it has recruited Brenda Aguilar-Guerrero and Henry Hewitt to join the Oakland office of Meyers Nave in the firm's Eminent Domain and Inverse Condemnation Practice Group.
The two join Meyers Nave from Erickson Beasley & Hewitt LLP, where Ms. Aguilar-Guerrero was a managing partner and Mr. Hewitt was a founding partner.
Ms. Aguilar-Guerrero joined Erickson Beasley & Hewitt LLP as an associate attorney in 1995 and was promoted to partner two years later. During her time at the firm, she specialized in civil litigation with an emphasis on eminent domain and condemnation, governmental tort liability, and employment. Previously, Ms. Aguilar-Guerrero spent five years as an associate attorney at Quint & Valkevich (formerly Reuben, Quint & Valkevich), where her focus was commercial litigation and family law. She received her J.D. from University of California Los Angeles School of Law.
During his time with Erickson Beasley & Hewitt LLP, Mr. Hewitt specialized in civil litigation with an emphasis on civil rights, employment, and governmental tort liability. Before co-founding the firm in 1978, Mr. Hewitt spent five years as a staff attorney for Community Development Block Grant, where he specialized in class action employment discrimination cases. He earned his J.D. from University of Chicago School of Law and taught a course on Federal Courts at University of San Francisco Law School.
Meyers Nave has more than 80 attorneys working in six offices throughout California.
